Melina’s Dance Company is seeking an experienced and passionate Ballet Instructor to join our teaching faculty and help lead the continued development of our ballet program.
This role is ideal for a teacher who values strong classical technique, artistic expression, and nurturing the next generation of dancers in a supportive environment.
As our studio continues to grow, we are looking for an instructor who can help guide ballet training for intermediate and advanced dancers while maintaining the positive and encouraging culture our studio is known for.

Position Responsibilities
- Teach Ballet classes for intermediate and advanced dancers
- Develop dancers’ strength, alignment, musicality, and artistry
- Provide thoughtful corrections and technical guidance
- Choreograph ballet pieces for studio showcases and performances
- Support the continued growth and development of our ballet program
- Collaborate with our teaching team to maintain a positive studio culture
Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a ballet instructor who:
- Has strong classical ballet training
- Has experience teaching intermediate and advanced dancers
- Understands safe and age-appropriate ballet technique
- Is passionate about mentoring young dancers
- Values artistry, discipline, and positive teaching methods
- Is reliable, professional, and collaborative
Professional dance experience and/or a degree in dance is highly valued.
Schedule
Classes are primarily held:
- Weekday evenings
- Additional choreography and performance opportunities may be available.
