Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in San Diego, CA for a Commercial Real Estate Accountant. The Commercial Real Estate Accountant will be responsible for managing financial statements, applying analytical skills, handling finance tasks, and overseeing management accounting and financial reporting.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• CAM Reconciliation knowledge and experience is a plus
• CAM Audit
• Due diligence projects
• New Property set up
• Detailed experience in budgeting, forecasting, forensic accounting project management
• Reconcile and analyze General Ledger Accounts
• Month-End Closing
• Bank Reconciliations
• Set up new leases in accounting system; review leases; interpret lease agreements and accounts for impacts of lease provision and clauses; review lease brief to reconcile tenant billings account (NNN/Base Year CAM’s)

Qualifications

• Proven Ability to Communicate Professionally with Clients
• Yardi, MRI, Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Experience Required
• Well organized with attention to detail and ability to carry out tasks independently
• Demonstrates the ability to identify issues and apply accounting principles
• Financial Statements and Financial Reporting skills
• Analytical Skills and Finance background
• Commercial Property Management Accounting experience
• Strong organizational skills
• Seasoned accountant OR a recent Accounting graduate with internship experience in property management eager to grow in the field.
