Essential Job Functions:
- Lead, train, and supervise Medical Assistants across assigned clinics
- Develop and implement standardized MA onboarding and training programs
- Conduct skills validation and competency assessments for new and existing MAs
- Provide ongoing coaching, retraining, and performance feedback
- Audit MA workflows, documentation, and clinical accuracy
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, policies, and quality standards
- Assist in hiring, interviewing, and onboarding MA candidates
- Implement pre-hire skills testing and evaluate candidate competency
- Support clinic operations including rooming patients, vitals, injections, and procedures as needed
- Ensure proper documentation in EMR (accurate, complete, and compliant)
- Collaborate with leadership on process improvement initiatives Monitor and enforce infection control and patient safety standards
- Serve as a resource for clinical staff and escalate issues appropriately
Marginal Job Functions:
- Assist with inventory oversight and supply management
- Support special projects and clinical initiatives
- Participate in meetings and training development sessions
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required
- Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience in a medical office setting
- Minimum 1–2 years of leadership, training, or supervisory experience required
- Experience in multi-site or high-volume clinical environments preferred
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proven ability to train, mentor, and develop staff
- Advanced clinical skills including: Injections (IM, SQ) Manual blood pressure Patient intake and vitals Phlebotomy (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in EMR systems (eClinicalWorks preferred but not required)
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to audit workflows and ensure compliance
- High attention to detail and accountability
Certifications / Licenses:
- CMA (AAMA), RMA, or equivalent certification required
- LVN license (if applicable)
- BLS/CPR Certification required
Other Requirements:
- Ability to travel between clinic locations as needed
- Flexibility to support training schedules and operational needs
- Commitment to maintaining high clinical and operational standards
Work Environment:
- Clinical office setting Fast-paced, multi-provider environment
- Frequent interaction with patients, providers, and staff
- May require travel between multiple clinic locations
Salary : $24 - $27
