Urgent Freelance Opportunity: VP, Strategy (DTC Pharma)
I’m currently partnering with a boutique, independent healthcare advertising agency on a high-profile new business opportunity and we’re looking for a senior freelance strategist to jump in immediately. This is a significant DTC healthcare pitch with an established client relationship already in place — a rare opportunity to help shape a major piece of business alongside an incredibly strong creative and account team.
The ideal strategist:
- Deeply experienced in DTC pharma/healthcare strategy
- Primarily brand strategy-driven, but also understands engagement strategy
- Fluent in TV-led omnichannel campaign development
- Experience leading strategy for large-scale TV campaigns within healthcare/pharma
- Strong understanding of patient engagement and community insight
- Equally data-driven and emotionally compelling in storytelling
- Comfortable operating at VP/SVP-level strategic thinking and collaboration
- Big-thinking, fast-moving, highly collaborative, and hands-on
Engagement details:
- Local to NYC (Hybrid collaboration with the team in-office weekly)
- 1 month contract starting immediately with 40 hours/week
- Pitch week: June 15 in NY
