Job Summary
Seeking a motivated Immunology Research Associate to support in vitro and in vivo immunological studies focused on lead candidate selection. This role involves executing immunological assays, handling primary immune cells and leukopaks, analyzing experimental data, and supporting high-throughput laboratory operations in a collaborative research environment.
Responsibilities
- Support in vitro and in vivo immunological studies for therapeutic candidate evaluation.
- Perform leukopak processing, including cell isolation, washing, counting, viability assessment, and cryopreservation.
- Conduct immunological assays such as flow cytometry, ELISA, ELISpot/FluoroSpot, and immunoprecipitation.
- Evaluate immune cell responses to biotherapeutics and analyze experimental data to support scientific conclusions.
- Operate and support high-throughput lab automation and robotics systems.
- Maintain accurate experimental records and prepare summaries and presentations of findings.
- Assist with routine lab operations, including reagent inventory, consumable ordering, and maintaining an organized lab environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Immunology, Biology, or a related field with 0–2 years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience with in vitro cell culture required; primary immune cell culture experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with leukopak processing and immunological techniques such as flow cytometry, ELISA, and ELISpot preferred.
- Exposure to T-cell expansion, dendritic cell culture, epitope mapping, immunopeptidomics, or murine models is a plus.
- Familiarity with high-throughput lab automation and/or Python programming is desirable.
