Job Summary
Seeking a strategic and data-driven analytics professional to support Medical Affairs through insights generation, performance tracking, and data-informed decision-making. This role will analyze data across multiple Medical Affairs sources to identify trends, sentiment, and actionable insights that inform strategy, launch planning, and stakeholder engagement. The position partners cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, IT, and business stakeholders to develop analytics capabilities, dashboards, and reporting solutions that drive measurable impact.
Responsibilities
- Analyze Medical Affairs data and insights to identify trends, sentiment, and strategic opportunities.
- Present findings and recommendations through compelling, executive-level storytelling and presentations.
- Support data-informed decision-making by developing analyses, models, and tools for prioritization, engagement strategies, and planning activities.
- Track and report Medical Affairs performance metrics and impact against targets; identify risks and recommend course corrections when needed.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop analytic capabilities to support organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with IT to translate business requirements into clear user stories and support development of scalable analytics solutions.
- Support the creation of automated, real-time dashboards integrating multiple data sources for impact assessment and reporting.
- Develop expertise in relevant therapeutic areas, including respiratory disease landscapes and competitor intelligence, to ensure accurate interpretation of insights.
- Provide analytics and insights support for launch planning and execution activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field required.
- Advanced degree preferred (MBA, MS, PhD) or life sciences qualification (e.g., PharmD) with relevant analytics experience.
- Experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or Medical Affairs analytics preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
- Proven ability to communicate insights effectively through presentations and storytelling.
- Experience with dashboarding, reporting tools, and data visualization platforms.
- Experience supporting launch analytics and strategic planning initiatives preferred.
