Senior Director, Project Management – Research

Our client is a growing biotechnology company advancing an innovative small-molecule pipeline and is seeking a Senior Director, Project Management to support and drive key research and drug development initiatives.
This leader will work cross-functionally with Research, Preclinical, CMC, Regulatory, and Clinical teams to ensure critical programs remain aligned with strategic objectives and development milestones. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving multiple programs through IND submission, with strong experience in small-molecule drug development.
Key Responsibilities:
-Lead cross-functional project teams across Research and early-stage drug development.
-Drive program strategy, timelines, milestones, and execution through IND submission.
-Partner closely with senior leadership and functional heads to identify risks, resolve issues, and maintain program momentum.
-Establish project management processes and frameworks within a growing organization.
-Provide leadership and mentorship to project management team members.
Qualifications:
-Proven experience successfully driving multiple INDs through submission.
-Strong small-molecule drug development experience required.
-PhD preferred; advanced degree in a relevant scientific discipline highly desirable.
-Prior leadership or people management experience strongly preferred.
-Strong understanding of preclinical research and cross-functional drug development.
-Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
Salary : $240,000 - $280,000
