Position: Single Point of Contact (SPOC) – Polaris Program
Position Summary
The SPOC serves as the local coordinator and project manager for the Polaris Program, acting as the primary business liaison between the global Polaris team, North America project teams, Key Users, and local leadership. This role ensures all local activities are organized, executed, and aligned with the Polaris Project Plan. The SPOC drives end-to-end process coordination across North America stakeholders, communicates program progress, aligns business needs, and supports effective change management.
The SPOC remains onsite within the local market to maintain close engagement with business stakeholders, participates in Polaris governance, and collaborates with the Management of Change team and Key User Community. This role also attends site leadership meetings to provide updates, track actions, and manage local process variances across O2C, R2R, FP&A, S2P, and F2P.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, monitor, and manage the local change action plan to ensure successful Polaris deployment.
- Assess risks and identify required actions to resolve local challenges.
- Coordinate cross-functional project and process management activities.
- Maintain strong communication and engagement with local stakeholders and teams.
- Monitor and support change and remediation plans in alignment with the global Polaris Program.
- Oversee local process variances across O2C, R2R, FP&A, S2P, and F2P as directed by the Polaris team.
- Provide regular updates to local site leadership and ensure follow-through on assigned actions.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 5–10 years of experience in multinational life science organizations, with strong background in Finance, Controlling, or Consolidation.
- Strong general knowledge of U.S. business processes.
- Demonstrated project management experience with large-scale programs; prior participation in ERP/SAP initiatives strongly preferred.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus: Order to Cash (O2C), Finance, Source to Pay (S2P), or Forecast to Plan (F2P).
