A well-funded, early-stage healthtech/AI startup is hiring a Founding Product Designer to join the NYC team and take full ownership of product design. You’d partner directly with engineering and product leadership to shape how users interact with the platform - setting the design foundation from scratch.
What you’ll do:
- Own end-to-end product design across key web experiences
- Build and evolve the company’s design system in Figma
- Work closely with engineers to ship beautiful, functional features
- Redesign how non-technical users engage with data-heavy tools
- Bring structure, clarity, and visual polish to a fast-moving product
What they’re looking for:
- 3–6 years of experience in product or UX design
- Strong in Figma and confident with systems-level design
- Experience shipping real software in a startup or SaaS environment
- Bonus: familiarity with healthcare marketing or regulated industries
- Based in NYC and open to being in-office 5 days per week
