What We’re Looking For
- The Business Sales Consultant is a true hunter and consultative seller—skilled in influencing C-suite decision-makers and guiding them to think differently about workforce strategy.
- This role is responsible for driving new customer acquisition and identifying business needs in the assigned region by selling PEO and HR solutions that solve complex workforce challenges.
- This is a field-based, quota-carrying role with uncapped earnings potential, high visibility, and a defined growth path.
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities that lead to new client acquisition.
- Build, maintain, and manage a robust pipeline in Salesforce with daily activity.
- Generate leads through: Self-sourcing and outbound prospecting ; Warm leads from Business Development Representatives ; Referrals and professional networks.
- Actively develop and maintain a network of small and mid-sized business owners.
- Identify and establish strategic channel partners and referral sources.
- Establish 150–200 new connections weekly through outbound activity.
- Consistently meet and exceed monthly KPIs and annual sales quota.
- Consult with C-suite executives on business needs and deliver solutions that drive measurable value.
- Represent the organization as a trusted advisor and industry leader.
- Partner cross-functionally, support key initiatives, and take on special projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree (business or technical discipline preferred) or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of success in complex, solutions-based sales and/or 2 years in outside/field sales.
- Proven consultative selling skills, ideally with executive-level buyers.
- Documented track record of meeting or exceeding quotas.
- Strong business acumen and ability to uncover underlying organizational challenges.
- Ability to prospect, close, and build sustainable client relationships.
- PEO, HR outsourcing, staffing, HR Tech or workforce solutions sales experience.
- Working knowledge of employment and labor law, benefits, and workforce management best practices.
- Experience selling multi-stakeholder solutions in a competitive market.
