Senior Business Development Manager (Rainmaker) – Technology Staffing & Professional Services
Remote opportunity based in either Tri-state, NY, CT, NJ, or Dallas, Texas
Must have IT Staffing Experience
Role Summary
Proven rainmaker with an aggressive approach to breaking into new accounts and closing deals in technology workforce solutions and professional services. This is a pure new business role—no account management, no farming—focused exclusively on prospecting, opening doors, and winning new logos to drive explosive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Aggressively pursue and close new logos across Direct Clients, MSPs, and VMS programs.
- Sell technology talent solutions (contract, contract-to-hire, direct placement) and project-based consulting engagements.
- Own the full sales cycle from cold outreach to signed contracts.
- Build and relentlessly drive a robust sales pipeline with aggressive targets.
- Negotiate Master Service Agreements, pricing structures, and commercial terms to win the deal.
Requirements
- 5 years in technology staffing & professional services sales with a new business acquisition track record.
- Documented success in new client acquisition and new logo wins.
- Strong knowledge of MSP/VMS frameworks and technology staffing models.
- Existing client relationships a strong plus.
- Fearless prospector with an aggressive, results-driven approach who thrives on cold calls, networking, and door-opening.
Compensation
- Competitive base - 80k-120k aggressive commission structure for top performers.
