What are the responsibilities and job description for the Software Engineer position at MeeBoss?
About the Company
Moe (Market of Everything) is redefining what a stock means. We turn your everyday possessions into a portfolio, giving you the real-time market value of anything you own and the power to sell it anywhere. Using AI product recognition, live pricing data, and multi-marketplace integrations, Moe connects the world’s resale and retail ecosystems into one unified marketplace. Snap a photo of any item, get its live market price, track its value over time, and list it instantly across platforms like eBay, Facebook Marketplace, Depop (and more), all from one place. We believe in Ownership for Everyone, making it easy for people to understand, manage, and monetize what they already own.
About the Role
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Software Engineer based in the Greater Seattle Area, with flexibility to work from home part-time. The Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions, contributing to the evolution of Moe’s innovative platform. Responsibilities include creating new features, optimizing back-end performance, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and troubleshooting complex technical issues. The role will also involve implementing object-oriented programming practices to ensure robust and maintainable code.
Responsibilities
- Creating new features
- Optimizing back-end performance

- Troubleshooting complex technical issues
- Implementing object-oriented programming practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
Required Skills
- 2–5 years of professional software engineering with production mobile or full-stack work
- Strong TypeScript and React Native — debug native bridge issues, optimize renders, ship polished UX
- Solid Node.js and REST/GraphQL API design; serverless architecture experience strongly preferred
- Hands-on AWS in production — Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, IAM
- Track record of owning features end-to-end: scoping, building, deploying, and maintaining
- Comfortable in a small team where you help create the structure, not just follow it
- Fluency in agentic coding tools is a genuine requirement for this role — not a nice-to-have. We expect you to use Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or equivalent as a core part of your daily workflow. In your application, describe specifically how these tools have changed how you scope, write, review, or refactor code. We’re especially interested in candidates using agentic tools for multi-file and architectural-level work, not just autocomplete.

- Familiarity with real-time pricing, websockets, or event-driven architectures
- Experience integrating third-party marketplace APIs (eBay, Shopify, Meta Commerce, etc.)
- Background working alongside ML engineers on AI-powered product features
