What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Product Manager position at MeeBoss?
Role Overview
This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow into a product manager and is willing to stay very close to users.
You will work across the full user lifecycle: acquisition, activation, onboarding, engagement, feedback, and retention.
You will learn product thinking through real user problems and real operations work.
What you will do
1. User Lifecycle Operations
- Follow up with employers and job seekers through in-app messages, group chats, and emails.
- Help users complete key actions such as posting jobs, reviewing candidates, and starting conversations.
- Capture user feedback and document typical use cases and pain points.
2. Product Discovery and UX Improvement
- Organize feedback into clear problems and potential requirements.
- Support PMs by mapping user flows and creating simple diagrams or mockups.
- Join release testing and share your observations from a user’s point of view.
3. Basic Data Tracking and Analysis
- Help track basic metrics such as new users, key action completion rate, and retention.
- Combine qualitative and quantitative inputs to answer “where are users getting stuck, and why?”
4. Cross-team Collaboration
- Communicate with product, ops, BD, and engineering to help small improvements land.
- Share user stories and insights with the team on a regular basis.
Requirements
- Mandarin Chinese is a must. You will use Mandarin to communicate with internal teams and read internal documents.
- Comfortable using English in daily work, especially for simple conversations and writing with local users.
- Fresh graduates, current students, or candidates with 1–2 years of experience are welcome.
- Strong interest in technical products and user experience. You like to understand how products work in real life.
- High empathy; you care about what users are trying to achieve and why they feel confused at certain points.
- Clear thinking and writing. You can organize messy information into simple summaries and action items.
- Problem-solving mindset. You are proactive, curious, and willing to try, learn, and iterate.
Nice to have
- Internship or experience in product, operations, or user research.
- Experience working or studying in a bilingual or multicultural environment.
- Basic skills in tools such as Looker Studio, Confluence, Excel, or similar.
Salary : $80,000 - $110,000
