Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming payments, reconciling accounts, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records in compliance with GAAP and company policies. This role requires proficiency with various accounting software and a strong understanding of financial concepts, including double entry bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and payroll management. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of our financial data and supporting overall financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Process and record incoming payments accurately using accounting software
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure consistency between ledger entries and bank statements.
- Manage accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, payment processing, and collections.
- Prepare journal entries related to receivables and assist with general ledger accounting activities.
- Assist with month-end closing processes by reconciling accounts receivable balances and preparing reports for management review.
- Support benefits administration
Qualifications
- Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles
- Strong understanding of financial concepts including debits & credits, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Familiarity with payroll management systems
- Excellent analysis skills
- Experience with account reconciliation, double entry bookkeeping, and financial analysis
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to perform data entry efficiently

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
