General Dentist – Outpatient | Monday–Friday | Loan Repayment Available
A mission-driven, non-profit community health organization in Eastern Connecticut is seeking a full-time General Dentist to join its growing outpatient dental team. This organization has been serving medically underserved populations for decades and offers a collaborative, patient-centered environment with strong clinical and administrative support.
This is a 100% outpatient, office-based position with no call, no weekends, and excellent work-life balance.
Position Overview
The General Dentist will provide comprehensive dental care to a diverse patient population, focusing on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of oral health conditions. You will work alongside other General Dentists and experienced support staff, including dental hygienists and front-office personnel.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat oral diseases and conditions
- Promote preventive dental care and patient education
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Interpret dental X-rays and diagnostic tests
- Safely administer local anesthetics and monitor patient response
- Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
- Provide light supervision and collaboration with dental hygienists
- Participate in care team meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration
Schedule
- Full-time: 40 hours per week
- Monday–Friday, daytime hours (typically 9:00 AM–5:00 PM)
- No evenings, no weekends, no call

Requirements
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental program
- Active (or eligible) Connecticut dental license
