Location: Cedarhurst, NY (Five Towns Area)
Salary: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour

A fast-paced, high-volume pediatric practice in Cedarhurst is seeking a dedicated, energetic, and detail-oriented Medical Assistant. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy environment, works well with children and families, and is committed to providing exceptional patient care.

Position Details:
Full-Time
Hourly Rate: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule:

• Monday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM

• Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM

• Thursday: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM

• Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM

• Twice per month Sundays: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Room patients and obtain vital signs.

• Assist providers during exams and procedures.

• Perform routine pediatric screenings and tests.

• Administer vaccines and document accurately.

• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection.

• Maintain organized, clean, and fully stocked exam rooms.

• Communicate clearly, warmly, and professionally with patients and families.

• Support clinical flow to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Requirements:

• Prior Medical Assistant experience required (pediatrics preferred).

• Phlebotomy skills required.

• Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.

• Warm, friendly, and patient-centered communication skills.

• Proficiency in eClinicalWorks (ECW) strongly preferred.
