Nurse Practitioner (NP) – In-Office Virtual Urgent Care
Location: Prospect Lefferts Gardens, Brooklyn, NY
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.
Compensation: $90–$105 per hour
We’re seeking an experienced, dependable Nurse Practitioner to provide virtual urgent care visits from our Prospect Lefferts Gardens office. You’ll evaluate a variety of acute care concerns and deliver timely, high-quality care as part of a collaborative clinical team.
This consistent evening schedule is a great fit for an NP with sound clinical judgment who is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced virtual care setting.
An active Medicaid ID number is required.
Responsibilities

Conduct virtual urgent care consultations from the office

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat common acute illnesses and minor injuries

Prescribe medications and develop evidence-based treatment plans

Educate patients about their conditions, medications, and follow-up care

Document patient encounters accurately in the EMR

Collaborate with physicians and the clinical team to support continuity of care

Maintain high standards of clinical quality and patient experience
Qualifications

Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license

Active Medicaid ID number required

Urgent care, primary care, family medicine, or emergency medicine experience preferred

Strong clinical decision-making skills and ability to work independently

Excellent communication and patient engagement skills

Comfortable providing virtual care in a fast-paced environment
