As a Client Relations Specialist, you will be the heartbeat of our customer engagement efforts, fostering strong relationships and ensuring our clients receive exceptional service. Your role will involve understanding client needs, addressing their inquiries, and providing tailored solutions that enhance their experience. You’ll collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless communication and satisfaction, making a significant impact on our clients' success.
What you’ll do
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through proactive communication and support.
- Address client inquiries promptly and effectively, ensuring all concerns are resolved to their satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customized solutions that meet client needs.
- Monitor client accounts, providing regular updates and insights to enhance their experience.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and documentation related to client accounts.
- Conduct account reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero for efficient account management.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to provide valuable insights to clients.
Basic qualifications
- Strong understanding of financial concepts including GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and double-entry bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Quicken, Sage, or Xero.
- Experience with balance sheet reconciliation, general ledger accounting, and journal entries.
Preferred qualifications
- Background in corporate or non-profit accounting is a plus.
- Familiarity with accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Experience in governmental accounting or public accounting is advantageous.
- Knowledge of payroll processes and tax regulations.
