Overview
We are seeking qualified Sign Language Interpreters to provide interpretation services for school-aged students within Bastrop Independent School District. Candidates should have experience working in educational settings and supporting students with disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide sign language interpretation services in school settings
- Support communication access for students with disabilities
- Maintain required service documentation and records
- Collaborate with school staff and service providers
- Follow district policies and applicable federal and state regulations
Qualifications
- Current Texas licensure/certification or relevant credentials required
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to complete required background checks and fingerprinting
Schedule
Assignments may vary based on district needs and service delivery model.
Pay: $35.00 - $46.00 per hour
