We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes throughout the Pittsfield, MA area. This full-time temporary contract offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by delivering high-quality home health services while working independently and collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team.
Position Details
- Job Type: Temporary / Full-Time Contract
- Location: Pittsfield, MA
- Schedule: Day Shift | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Hours: 40 hours per week (Guaranteed)
- Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend
- Holiday Requirement: 1–2 holidays as needed
- On-Call: None
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care, patient education, and home health services in patients' homes.
- Perform comprehensive home health assessments using OASIS.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and infusion therapy as appropriate.
- Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic clinical documentation.
- Manage an independent caseload while traveling to patient homes.
- Promote patient safety, health maintenance, rehabilitation, and disease prevention.
Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of Home Health nursing experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of Acute Care nursing experience.
- OASIS experience required.
- Infusion Therapy experience or certification preferred.
- Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and current auto insurance.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and time management skills.
