Job Overview
Temp- Certified Surgical Technologist – 5x8-Hour Days
Seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a travel assignment in a busy operating room. Candidates must be able to work independently, precept staff, and participate in call coverage. This position requires five 8-hour shifts per week (10- and 12-hour shifts are not available).
Shift Times:3:00 PM - 11:30 PM (Afternoons)
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of current CST experience
- Travel experience required (first-time travelers will not be considered)
- NBSTSA certification required (NCCT not accepted)
- Active AHA BLS certification
- Experience in General, GYN, Vascular, Thoracic, Orthopedic (including total joints), Neuro (head/spine), and Trauma procedures
- Ability to precept and work independently
- Own reliable transportation required
- Two recent supervisory signed references with reference verification required
Preferred Experience:
- C-Sections
- ENT
- Plastics
- Da Vinci Robot
- Meditech Expanse experience
- RN Scrub experience (if applicable)
Additional Information:
- 8-bed operating room
- Facility-provided scrubs
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
