Position Overview

A leading regional oncology and specialty healthcare network is seeking a dynamic, multi-faceted Supervisor of Clinical Support Services to oversee clinical support programs and staff across multiple clinic locations.

In this dual-impact leadership role, you will champion daily operations, staffing, hiring, employee development, and community integration, while maintaining direct patient care responsibilities by working periodically in the clinic. This position is an exceptional opportunity for a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Licensed Social Worker (LCSW or equivalent) looking to advance their career into administrative and operational leadership.

Responsibilities

• Leadership & Operations:
• Direct and coordinate Clinical Support Services across multiple clinic locations.
• Ensure departmental operations run smoothly and remain closely aligned with broader organizational goals.
• Schedule, organize, and lead regular departmental meetings to keep staff aligned.
• Provide day-to-day clinical and professional leadership, serve as a mentor/preceptor, and coach team members.
• Champion value-based care initiatives and other key practice-wide projects.
• Staffing & People Management:
• Coordinate and maintain employee staffing schedules and timecards to ensure optimal clinic coverage.
• Lead the interview and hiring processes to bring high-quality talent onto the team.
• Conduct thoughtful quarterly performance evaluations for departmental staff.
• Coordinate staff onboarding, continuous clinical education, and periodic competency evaluations.
• Clinical Oversight & Policy Development:
• Keep your clinical skills active by working periodically in the clinic as a Registered Dietitian or Licensed Social Worker.
• Collaborate directly with leadership to review, update, and revise clinical policies, operating procedures, and clinical job aids.
• Patient Support & Community Relations:
• Manage and develop critical patient support programs and resources.
• Build and cultivate strong partnerships with external community agencies and healthcare organizations to secure a robust safety net of supportive resources for patients and families.
• Manage data collection, tracking of patient resources, and internal program reporting.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) OR Master’s Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics (MS, RD).
• Licensure & Certification:
• Active professional license/credential as a Registered Dietitian (RD) OR Licensed Social Worker (LCSW or equivalent credential).
• Current CPR Certification.
• Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of leadership, supervisory, or management experience in a healthcare setting.
• Clinical Background: Direct clinical healthcare experience with a history of supervising or leading healthcare staff.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills; collaborative leadership style with a patient-first mentality; and the ability to balance multiple priorities.

Schedule

• Full-Time (1.0 FTE), 40 hours per week, scheduled within standard daytime work hours.

Compensation

• $95,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year (dependent on experience)
• $5,000.00 Sign-On Bonus
