Revenue Cycle Management Specialist
Location: San Antonio, TX (Onsite Training, then Hybrid Schedule)
Pay: $16–$18/hour
Schedule: Full-Time Hours; day shift
Duration: Contract-to-hire
About the Role
We are a partnering with a third-party Revenue Cycle Management company, helping them identify a motivated and detail-oriented RCM Specialist to join their team in San Antonio. This role begins with in-person training and transitions into a hybrid schedule. It’s a great fit for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving billing challenges, and values accuracy in their work.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and track claim statuses, identifying and resolving claim rejections or denials promptly
- Conduct regular follow-ups with insurance companies to verify claim status and resolve outstanding issues
- Review, research, and appeal denied claims while adhering to payer deadlines and requirements
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance regulations, billing guidelines, and coding updates
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure compliance with payer requirements
- Generate and analyze billing and collections reports to identify trends and areas for improvement
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a high-volume administrative environment

- Professional persistence when handling follow-ups and escalations
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong technical fluency and ability to navigate multiple systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting
- Medical billing and/or coding certification
- Associate degree in Healthcare Administration or completion of a similar program
Work Environment
- Initial onsite training in San Antonio, TX
- Transition to a hybrid schedule (combination of onsite and remote work) after training completion
