Title: Patient Service Representative (Concord, MA)
Responsibilities/ Job Duties:
- Greet and assist patients through comprehensive check-in and check-out procedures, setting a positive tone for their visit.
- Utilize EPIC EHR software to meticulously verify and update patient demographics and insurance eligibility.
- Answer and triage inbound calls, assisting with appointment scheduling, general inquiries, and patient support.
- Process prior authorizations efficiently to ensure uninterrupted patient care and accurate billing.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma/Equivalent
- 1 year of healthcare experience (preferred)
- Working knowledge of check in / registration procedure
- Experience with cash handling and end of day balancing procedures
Schedule/ Shift: Monday - Friday 8:30am-5pm
