Clinical Rater - 254655

We are seeking a Clinical Rater to join a leading neuroscience-focused clinical research site in Hollywood, Florida. The Clinical Rater will play a critical role in the conduct of industry-sponsored clinical trials by administering standardized cognitive, psychiatric, and neurological assessments to research participants. This position works closely with Principal Investigators, Sub-Investigators, Clinical Research Coordinators, and Sponsors to ensure the collection of accurate, reliable, and high-quality efficacy data.

The ideal candidate will have experience conducting structured interviews and psychometric assessments in populations affected by neurological, psychiatric, or neurodegenerative disorders.

Essential Responsibilities

• Administer protocol-specific cognitive, behavioral, psychiatric, and functional rating scales according to sponsor and study requirements.
• Conduct participant interviews and assessments to determine study eligibility and evaluate treatment outcomes.
• Perform assessments independently while maintaining strict adherence to study protocols and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
• Ensure consistency and reliability across all ratings through sponsor certification and ongoing calibration activities.
• Complete source documentation and case report form entries accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with investigators and study coordinators to support participant visits and study milestones.
• Participate in sponsor training sessions and maintain certifications for required assessment instruments.
• Respond to sponsor and data management queries related to efficacy assessments.
• Monitor participant safety and communicate any concerns to the study investigator and clinical team.
• Assist with study startup activities, protocol review, and implementation of assessment procedures.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Neuropsychology, Counseling, Social Work, Nursing, Neuroscience, or a related healthcare field.
• Experience administering cognitive, psychological, psychiatric, or neurological assessments.
• Strong interview, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to establish rapport with diverse patient populations.
• Proficiency with electronic data capture systems and clinical documentation.
• Ability to speak Spanish

Preferred

• Previous experience as a Clinical Rater, Psychometric Rater, Neuropsychological Examiner, or Research Clinician.
• Experience in clinical research or clinical trials.
• Knowledge of GCP, FDA regulations, and human subject protection requirements.
• Experience working with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, psychiatric, or neurological patient populations.
