Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our growing, mission-driven nonprofit team. In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of individualized behavioral intervention plans for children with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder.
This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a collaborative, supportive environment. You will report directly to clinical leadership and play a key role in supervising staff, guiding treatment plans, and supporting positive outcomes through evidence-based practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments to identify client needs and strengths
- Develop, implement, and oversee individualized behavior intervention plans using ABA principles
- Supervise a team of approximately 4 Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
- Provide direct support with treatment protocols and programming
- Input and manage treatment programs within the ReThink system
- Monitor client progress through ongoing data collection, analysis, and program adjustments
- Oversee and update treatment plans to ensure effectiveness and compliance
- Communicate directly with parents/caregivers as needed to support continuity of care
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure consistent treatment approaches
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold HIPAA compliance standards
Work Environment & Travel:
- Services provided across center, home, and community settings (primarily center-based for early intervention)
- Mileage reimbursement provided for travel between service locations (per hour)
- Office located on the basement level (accessible via stairs), with entrance facing the north side near Walgreens
Population Served:
- Children ages 4–17, primarily early intervention (ages 4–8)
Requirements:
- Active BCBA certification, newly certified candidates are encouraged to apply!
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and practices
- Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities (open to newly certified BCBAs)
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and program development
- Strong communication skills with the ability to give and receive feedback openly
- Consistency, reliability, and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to work independently while supporting a small, close-knit team
