One of Medix's healthcare clients is hiring for a remote 3rd Party Revenue Cycle Consultant. It is a long term contract.
Current situation:
Our client is currently going through a large Epic migration project to move the entire organization onto one instance of Epic
Day to day:
- Working alongside internal team - engineer/architect
- A lot of troubleshooting
- Bringing in & looking at what requests come in for the build itself, work with the architect/engineer to understand what needs to be built and do the build itself
- Build out bridge routines & rules
- Bringing in and looking at what requests come in for the build itself, help plan out from architects/engineers, give instructions for what needs to be built
3-5 Must-Have Skills/Qualifications (what’s the minimum requirement our candidate should have?)
- 3-5 years of experience as a Clinical Analyst focused in Revenue Cycle
- Someone from the claims administration side of things
- Deep understanding of how to troubleshoot, build our rules & bridge routines
- This role is focused on anything on the build side of the world that Epic/any EHR cannot produce
- They run through anywhere from 100-150 different changes within a month
- They currently use assurance (e-premise/change/Optum) and may be using Experian soon
- Understanding of connection with clearinghouses (change & Experian specifically)
- Meditech or STAR experience
