Key Responsibilities
- Perform fullcycle accounting including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Support and gradually take ownership of the monthend and yearend close process
- Maintain financial records across multiple entities, locations, or cost centers
- Partner with payroll providers to reconcile payroll, benefits, and related liabilities
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting policies
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Analyze financial variances and provide insights to leadership
- Coordinate with external CPAs, tax professionals, and auditors
- Support audit preparation and tax filings
- Participate in process improvement, system optimization, and documentation
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all financial reporting
Responsibilities

- Oversight of all accounting functions and internal controls
- Leadership of accounting processes and future accounting staff
- Strategic financial reporting and analysis for executive decisionmaking
- Ownership of audits, tax strategy coordination, and compliance oversight
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 35 years of accounting experience (inhouse or public accounting)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience with multientity, multilocation, or professional services accounting preferred
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, reconciliations)
- Detailoriented, organized, and deadlinedriven
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with leadership
- Healthcare, MSO, or medical practice experience a plus
- CPA or CPAtrack candidates encouraged but not required
