What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Services Representative - Front Desk Admin Assistant position at Medical Express PSI?
We are currently hiring for a part-time Front Desk Admin Assistant at our Owasso location.
We offer a great work environment with benefits and competitive pay. Our employees work independently, but goal oriented. The position is part-time, Monday - Friday from 10 am - 3 pm.
Summary of essential job functions:
- Greeting patients and customers, checking patients in, checking eligibility and verifying benefits, helping patients with any medical equipment they may be renting or purchasing, including CPAP Machines and resupplies.
- Contact patients regarding DME pickup prior to surgery.
- Updating patients with co-insurance and co-payments.
- Answering all incoming phone calls and route them to the appropriate department.
- Call patients for updated insurance info as well as enter patient demographics accurately and timely within the patient accounting system to ensure accurate and timely billing within the Intake department.
- Other front desk duties as assigned.
We are looking for a team player and are willing to train the right candidate. The candidate should be great at multi-tasking, detail oriented, communicate clearly and pleasantly. The candidate must also have data entry and computer skills.
The ideal candidate must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug testing for employment.
