Technical Sales Coordinator

Summary of Function:

The Technical Sales Coordinator supports the timely and accurate development of customer quotations by coordinating the quote process across Sales, Application Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Tooling, and Operations. This position is primarily focused on project coordination, process management, documentation, and cross-functional follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

Quote Process Coordination

• Coordinate the quote development process from initial request through internal review and customer submission: track quote status, due dates, required inputs, approvals, and open action items.
• Ensure all quote requests are properly documented, organized, and routed to the appropriate internal stakeholders. Maintain quote files, supporting documentation, assumptions, revisions, approvals, and customer-facing records.
• Gather and validate required cost, technical, timing, and operational inputs from Engineering, Tooling, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations.
• Support data entry and maintenance within quoting, CRM, ERP, or related systems.
• Track action items and ensure owners understand deadlines and deliverables.
• Help consolidate information into standardized quote packages for Sales, Application Engineering, and internal review.
• Prepare quote status updates for internal stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement of quote workflow, templates, trackers, and handoff processes. Ensure quote documentation is complete, accurate, and traceable. Help standardize quote documentation and improve quote package consistency.
  
  

Experience And/or Educational Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales Operations, Supply Chain, Project Management, Engineering Technology, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• 2–4 years of experience in sales support, quoting support, project coordination, customer service, supply chain coordination, manufacturing administration, or related role preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, contract manufacturing, technical sales, medical device, or engineered products environment preferred.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and coordinating multiple priorities strongly preferred.

• Ability to manage multiple quote requests, deadlines, and stakeholders at once.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience with ERP, CRM, quoting systems, or project tracking tools preferred.
• Ability to understand basic cost inputs, quote structure, technical requirements, and manufacturing terminology.
• Comfortable tracking open items, documenting assumptions, and escalating risks.
• Reliable, proactive, and able to keep quote processes moving.
  
  

Salary – $55,000-$70,000
