What are the responsibilities and job description for the Desktop Tech Support / IT Support position at Medasource?
Job Description:
This person would be imaging new or existing equipment, installing applications, deploying desktops, notebooks, printers, keyboards, mice, scanners, etc. This person would also troubleshoot issues as called into our Help Desk (if the Help Desk can’t resolve on the initial call). No application support (we have analysts who support our various applications).
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Information Technology or related field is a plus.
Experience:
- Proven experience with hardware setup, installation, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with imaging tools and software deployment.
- Previous experience in an IT support or Help Desk environment is preferred.
Skills:
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills for hardware and peripheral devices.
- Proficiency with common IT operating systems (Windows, macOS, etc.).
- Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) is a plus.
