Job Title: Audio/Visual (A/V) Technician
Location: Greater Jacksonville, FL (travel between hospital facilities and downtown corporate offices required)
Duration: 5-month contract (2 openings)
Position Overview
We are seeking two experienced A/V Technicians to support executive-level meetings across a large health system. This role is responsible for the seamless setup, operation, troubleshooting, and breakdown of audio/visual equipment to ensure high-quality delivery of presentations and communications in executive environments. The ideal candidates bring a strong track record supporting high-stakes meetings, with the professionalism and technical expertise required to work with senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, test, and break down A/V equipment for executive meetings (audio, video, conferencing tools, displays, etc.)
- Provide real-time technical support during meetings to ensure flawless execution
- Troubleshoot and resolve A/V issues quickly and discreetly
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure meeting readiness and alignment on technical needs
- Transport and manage A/V equipment across multiple locations
- Maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with executives and stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience supporting A/V for executive or high-visibility meetings
- Strong knowledge of A/V equipment, conferencing platforms, and presentation technologies
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical issues under pressure
- Experience with setup and teardown of meeting room technology
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to travel locally between multiple sites (hospitals and corporate offices)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare or large enterprise environments
- Familiarity with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or similar platforms
- Basic networking or IT troubleshooting knowledge
