Job Responsibilities:
Initial responsibilities will include assisting both the debt and equity teams in the underwriting and analysis of commercial mortgage transactions. Will also include client and lender interaction in preparation for advancement into a Producer (Sales) role. Conduct research and study market trends, database management, perform financial modeling and spreadsheet analysis in Excel, organize and present data analysis, draw objective conclusions, make recommendations, and other duties assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a finance, real estate, or economics focus. Two to three years of financial analytical work experience- preferably in real estate. Intermediate working knowledge of Outlook and Word, with more extensive skills in Excel and PowerPoint desirable. A demonstrated interest in the real estate capital markets industry; ability to multitask with strong attention to detail. The ability to understand and effectively communicate financial and analytical concepts. In addition, the individual should have the goal of becoming a Producer (Salesperson) who is responsible for using persuasive, interpersonal, and analytical skills to generate new business for the company.
Compensation:
Competitive based on industry and experience level. Base Salary plus bonus eligibility and includes a competitive benefits package. Eventually, the salary will change to business development-related compensation.
