About the Role: The Human Resources Generalist provides comprehensive HR support to the HR team and partners with managers and HR specialty areas (Payroll, Compensation/Benefits, HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, Talent & Development, and People Services) to ensure smooth day-to-day HR operations. This role is key in maintaining a positive employee experience and supporting organizational goals. The ideal candidate is a proactive team player who is ready to roll up their sleeves and make an impact.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret and administer HR policies and programs to ensure compliance and positive employee experience.
- Partner across HR functions throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance reviews, talent management, engagement initiatives, employee relations, investigations, and offboarding.
- Administer HR programs and processes; identify gaps and assist in developing improvements.
- Maintain accurate HR records, including job descriptions and talent development documentation.
- Analyze HR reports to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
- Facilitate performance evaluation programs and update as needed.
- Support compliance reporting (EEO-1, OSHA logs, affirmative action programs).
- Assist with recruiting efforts, including sourcing, job postings, scheduling, and interviewing.
- Recommend new processes and policies to improve departmental efficiency.
- Drive change management initiatives and foster positive employee-management relationships.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Provide HR consultation on staffing, organizational effectiveness, training, compensation, benefits, and conflict resolution.
- Support payroll processing under the direction of the Payroll Manager.
- Participate in special HR projects such as Lunch & Learns, ISO document management, audits, and other administrative duties.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
- Languages: English required; bilingual or multilingual preferred.
Required Skills:
- Strong confidentiality and discretion.
- Conflict resolution and disciplinary process expertise.
- Ability to influence change and build relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS and payroll systems (ADP WorkforceNow preferred).

- Ability to prioritize and work independently while delivering results.
Pay range and compensation package: 3–5 years of HR experience in a Generalist capacity. Knowledge of employment lifecycle administration, employment law, recruitment, and payroll.
