Recruiter

MeanPug Digital is looking for a Recruiter to fully own our Talent Acquisition System (TAS) and manage recruiting end-to-end across multiple roles—content editors, strategists, developers, designers, and account executives. This is a hands-on role where you keep the pipeline moving, ensure candidates are properly screened, and maintain a high standard for talent entering the organization.

This is not a role buried under bureaucracy. We're a small team, and the recruiter is the engine that keeps hiring efficient, organized, and consistently improving.

What You'll Do

• Manage the entire talent pipeline from initial sourcing to offer stage.
• Screen incoming applicants across a variety of disciplines (content, dev, design, marketing, operations).
• Conduct 15-20 minute video screeners to evaluate fit, communication, and base competency.
• Coordinate and schedule deeper technical interviews with hiring leads.
• Keep our TAS tracking up-to-date across all stages.
• Maintain fast candidate communication (follow-ups, confirmations, rejections).
• Source additional candidates when pipelines run low.
• Ensure every open role has a healthy backlog of active, vetted talent.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to refine scoring rubrics, role requirements, and job postings.
• Earn a commission for each successful hire (details outlined in offer).
  
  

Requirements

• Some hands-on experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruiting (internal or agency)
• Experience managing a hiring pipeline or ATS/TAS system (Airtable, Greenhouse, Workable, etc.)
• Strong screening instincts—able to quickly identify red flags or standout signals
• Comfortable coordinating multiple open roles at once
• Clear communicator with high responsiveness and organization
• Someone who enjoys the actual craft of candidate evaluation—not just admin work
  
  

You do not need decades of experience. You simply need to know how to run a recruiting pipeline and keep it moving with discipline and consistency.
