Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) professional with a strong technical background to support our plant operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who excels in troubleshooting, maintenance planning, and coordination with vendors and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of I&E systems
- Manage and maintain parts inventory and maintenance schedules
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs, services, and materials
- Support planning and execution of maintenance activities, including shutdowns
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with plant standards
Qualifications
- Strong background and hands-on experience in Instrumentation & Electrical systems
- Proven experience in:
- Troubleshooting complex equipment issues
- Managing parts inventory and maintenance schedules
- Working with and coordinating external vendors
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

Maintenance Technician (I/E)
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician (Instrumentation & Electrical) to support day-to-day maintenance operations at an industrial facility. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of equipment through preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance activities.
The ideal candidate will work both independently and collaboratively with plant personnel to troubleshoot issues, perform repairs, and maintain critical systems while upholding company policies, safety standards, and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain operations in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Perform maintenance and repairs on plant equipment, including pumps, valves, and other mechanical systems
- Execute preventative and predictive maintenance programs to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair production and facility equipment failures
- Maintain accurate equipment records to support ongoing maintenance planning and improvements
- Plan and manage weekly work schedules to maximize productivity and efficiency
- Participate in safety, health, and environmental programs and initiatives
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to procedures at all times
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems up to 12,470V
- Experience with PLC wiring, functionality, and logic
- Familiarity with instrumentation systems, calibration, and PID controls
- Knowledge of vapor recovery systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and P&IDs
- Solid troubleshooting and critical-thinking skills
- Strong decision-making ability with a focus on safety and efficiency
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint; MS Project and Access a plus)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate degree or technical certification preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of maintenance experience in oil & gas or a related industry
- Experience in chemical, refining, or terminal operations preferred
- Advanced experience with high-voltage electrical systems and instrumentation in midstream operations
- Experience with SCADA systems required
- Experience with Wonderware preferred
- Familiarity with tank gauging systems (e.g., Rosemount TankMaster) preferred
