Responsibilities Include
- Leading data collection, quantity calculations, and inspections/testing related to soil density, concrete, asphalt, and earthwork
- Heavy lifting
- Working outside in a variety of conditions on a regular basis
- Ability to perform work independently
- Travel to construction sites throughout the state
- A valid driver’s license is required.
Successful Candidates Will Have The Following
- Two relevant certifications
- A bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field
- An associate degree in construction management or related field plus at least two years of relevant experience
- No degree plus at least four years of relevant experience
- NCDOT Certifications
- ITS Experience
- ICC Certifications
- Leading inspectors performing highway materials sampling and testing
- Oversight of interpretation of plans, drawings and specifications as relates to construction field tasks
- Site Manager or other construction software
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
