What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Intern position at Mead & Hunt?
Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, is seeking a highly motivated individual to assist our HR department with a variety of tasks. This position is currently a full-time, limited-term (no benefits) for summer 2025. Hours are flexible and could continue to work during the fall semester.
Responsibilities include:
- Data entry
- Preparing presentations and/or benefits tasks
- Running reports
- Proofing/ editing documents
- Researching employment-related laws and regulations
- Tracking training attendance
- Creating surveys and compiling results
The ability to maintain confidentiality is essential.
The successful candidate must have completed at least four semesters (six preferred) of college-level coursework in human resources or a related field from an accredited college or university.
The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all the following:
- Previous HR internship
- MS Office software programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- HRIS software (Paylocity a plus)
- Experience with data entry
- Research skills
- Writing/proofing skills
