Duties

- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste
- Oversee cash handling procedures, register operations, and reconciliation at shift end
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene and sanitation
- Coordinate with kitchen management to ensure timely food production and quality standards are met
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Assist in budgeting, cost control, and sales strategies to maximize profitability
- Conduct interviews and participate in hiring processes for new team members
- Supervise shift management to ensure efficient staffing levels during peak hours
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and beverage service within a quick service or fast food restaurant environment
- Strong knowledge of POS systems; Knowledge of Toast a plus
- Excellent leadership skills with prior management or assistant manager experience in hospitality settings
- Skilled in inventory control, food safety practices, and food handling procedures
- Exceptional customer service abilities with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences in casual dining or fine dining contexts
- Ability to train staff effectively on food production, service standards, and safety protocols
- Demonstrated competence in supervising teams, managing shifts, and conducting interviews for new hires
- Familiarity with budgeting, food management, catering operations, and hospitality management principles
- Experience with kitchen management tasks related to food production and culinary operations
- Strong communication skills to coordinate between front-of-house and kitchen teams seamlessly
