Our direct client based in NYC is planning an online banking conversion to the Q2 Digital Banking Platform and is seeking a local User Interface (UI) Designer role is a delivery focused role supporting a critical transformation effort.
The UI Designer will be responsible for the following:
- Focus on translating defined UX flows and requirements into polished, accessible,
- production ready UI, working within the constraints of a third party, white labeled banking platform while ensuring brand consistency and usability.
- Design high fidelity UI for core online banking journeys (accounts, transfers, payments, alerts, settings, login, and enrollment)
- Translate UX workflows into clean, consistent, and accessible interface designs
- Work within and extend an existing design system and third-party platform patterns
- Apply brand standards thoughtfully within platform constraints
- Prepare detailed design specs and assets to support development and QA
- Partner closely with UX, marketing, product, engineering, and vendor teams
- Support iterative refinement during build, testing, and conversion readiness
- Experience in UI design
- Strong proficiency in Figma (components, variants, auto layout)
- Experience designing complex, transactional, or data dense interfaces
- Comfort working within established systems and constraints
- Strong attention to detail and execution quality
- Portfolio demonstrating visual clarity, hierarchy, and usability Additional experience:
- Experience designing for third party or white labeled platforms (banking, fintech, SaaS, or enterprise)
- Familiarity with the Q2 digital banking platform
- Financial services or regulated environment experience
- Accessibility knowledge (WCAG)
- Experience supporting migrations or platform conversions
Salary : $70 - $100
