Overview
We are looking for a dependable, motivated Facility Manager to take charge of the daily operations at our self storage facility. This is a hands-on position that blends customer service with property management to ensure the facility remains secure, clean, and welcoming.
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing both administrative duties and property upkeep independently.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily facility operations in accordance with company policies
- Provide outstanding customer service for rentals, inquiries, payments, and account support
- Conduct regular property inspections to maintain safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal
- Manage office and maintenance supply inventory
- Monitor competitor activity to support pricing and rate adjustments
- Recommend appropriate storage solutions and successfully close rental agreements
- Process lease agreements, payments, and keep accurate, organized records
- Enforce lease terms, facility rules, and safety standards
- Handle delinquent accounts and collections in a professional and timely manner
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in self storage, property management, or a related field (preferred)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and follow through
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Basic math skills for processing payments and accounts
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Experience with SiteLink or similar software (a plus)
- Background in collections or accounts receivable (a plus)
Schedule
- Full-time, 8-hour shifts
- Weekday and weekend availability required
- Morning/daytime shifts preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
