We are seeking an on-site, full-time Business Systems Analyst to lead the administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of our core business platforms, including ERP, CRM, and reporting systems. This role plays a key part in ensuring our technology systems support operational efficiency, data accuracy, and informed decision-making across multiple business divisions. The Business Systems Analyst will serve as the internal expert for the company’s business systems and will work closely with department leaders and external technology partners to improve workflows, reporting, and system capabilities.
Our IT infrastructure and technical support functions are managed through an external IT partner, allowing this role to focus on business systems, data visibility, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Systems Administration
• Serve as the internal administrator and subject matter expert for the company’s ERP and CRM systems
• Maintain system configurations, forms, user permissions, and workflows
• Support system enhancements that improve efficiency and data visibility across departments
ERP Support & Optimization
• Support the administration and ongoing improvement of the company’s ERP platform
• Assist with reporting development, system configuration, and user training
• Coordinate ERP upgrades, testing, and system enhancements
CRM & Sales Systems
• Maintain CRM functionality used for customer management and sales pipeline visibility
• Support the development of dashboards and reporting that improve sales insight and forecasting
Data & Reporting
• Develop and maintain reporting tools and dashboards that support leadership decision-making
• Work with finance, sales, and operations teams to improve access to reliable, actionable data
Process Improvement & Automation
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through system enhancements and automation
• Collaborate with departments to implement improved workflows
Technology Vendor Coordination
• Serve as the internal liaison with the company’s outsourced IT provider and software vendors
• Assist with system integrations, upgrades, and technology initiatives
Security & Compliance Support
• Partner with external IT providers to maintain strong cybersecurity practices
• Support the development and communication of internal technology policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field preferred
• 3–7 years of experience supporting ERP systems, business systems, or data/reporting platforms
• Experience working in manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environments preferred
Technical Skills
• Experience administering or supporting ERP systems
• Familiarity with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or similar systems
• Working knowledge of SQL or similar query languages used for reporting and data analysis
• Experience building reports or dashboards using business intelligence tools is a plus
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 environments
