In our time of Company growth, we seek a Continuous Improvement Specialist/LPN Nurse/Medical Assistant
Work Location: Bradenton, FL
As Part Of This Role, You Will
- Conduct ongoing reviews of the patient care practices and functions to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure ongoing compliance
- Conduct reviews of the medical record to monitor the established key performance indicators and any other
- Collect data on required medical staff measurement and assessment activities
- Function as a clinical resource and educator in compliance with MCR Health policies, procedures, and standards in addition to applicable regulatory agencies (e.g., TJC, URAC, HRSA, etc.)
- Identify process improvement opportunities with the goal to avoid/reduce occurrences and create/enhance a safe patient environment
What you need to bring to this role:
- Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) 1 years in good standing with the FL Board of Nursing or a combination of education and experience
- Degree in healthcare-related field - preferred
- Experience with coordinating, teaching, or performing audits related to federal accreditations (e.g., Joint Commission (TJC), URAC, HRSA, etc.), 1 year preferred
- Experience with auditing disaster preparedness, infection prevention monitoring, and/or risk management- 1 year preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite- preferred
- Valid driver's license required with the ability to move between sites as needed to oversee, observe, and monitor operations - required
- Travel between clinical sites (75%)
- Process improvement experience and/or certification (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Green Belt) is beneficial
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a preferred but not required
