The Workforce Success Specialist provides critical administrative and student support to the Workforce Student Success portion of the Perkins grant along with the Workforce Success Coach. This position is evenly split, with approximately 50% of responsibilities focused on administrative support and 50% on direct student support/success coaching. The specialist supports the successful implementation of day-to-day operations. Responsibilities include verifying participant eligibility, processing and tracking awards, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with grant guidelines. The specialist also provides direct support to students through outreach, referrals, and individualized guidance, helping them stay engaged and on track in their workforce programs. This position receives general direction from the Associate Director of Success Coaching Services and exercises no supervision.
**Employee may not exceed 19.5 hours per week.**

- Education:** Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university
- Experience:** More than one year of work experience in education, student or social services, or closely related field
- Education:** Masters Degree in higher education, student affairs administration, counseling or closely related field from an accredited college or university
- Experience:** More than one year of professional work experience in higher education, student services, academic support, counseling, or closely related field
