The Workforce Success Coach serves as the primary administrator of the Workforce Student Success portion of the Perkins grant and provides strategic leadership for all aspects of its implementation, compliance, and reporting. This position is responsible for coordinating with workforce program directors, faculty, the retention team, and other campus stakeholders to ensure broader student success and retention and compliance with the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Boards approved annual Perkins Basic Grant application for MCC.Additionally, the coach develops, implements, and evaluates student support strategies tailored to the unique needs of workforce education students. The coach serves as the main point of contact for workforce students seeking assistance and plays a lead role in identifying barriers to success and connecting students with appropriate resources. This position may coordinate the efforts of grant-funded support personnel and is responsible for maintaining alignment between grant activities and institutional priorities. This position receives general direction from the Associate Director of Success Coaching Services and exercises no supervision. **NOTE:** This is a security sensitive position and an appropriate background investigation will be made on applicants being strongly considered for this position.
Minimum Qualification Requirements

: 1. Workforce education and career/technical programs; 2. Student retention, success coaching, interventions, and case management practices; 3. Grant compliance, documentation, and reporting requirements; 4. Student information systems, CRM tools, and data analysis; 5. Equity and access challenges for adult and nontraditional learners;
Skills in: 6. Data tracking, analysis, and reporting for student outcomes and grant compliance; 7. Case management and accurate documentation of student interactions; 8. Individualized student advising and proactive intervention planning; 9. Professional communication and collaboration with faculty, staff, and students; 10. Delivering presentation and training to student and employee audiences; 11. Use of Microsoft Office, SIS, and retention software tools;
Ability to: 12. Maintain organized, confidential case notes and grant records; 13. Balance multiple responsibilities while managing shifting priorities effectively; 14. Analyze and interpret data to guide student support strategies and report outcomes; 15. Develop and implement targeted success strategies that improve student outcomes; 16. Communicate clearly with divers audiences to support student advocacy and collaboration; 17. Adapt to evolving student needs, workforce education demands, and grant requirements.
Working Conditions
Sedentary-Desk work; occasional field trips e.g. for college or program activities. Minimal Hazard/Exposure-Standard office setting. At least minimal environmental controls are in place to assure health and comfort.

- Experience:** More than one year of work experience in education, student or social services, or closely related field
- Education:** Masters Degree in higher education, student affairs administration, counseling or closely related field from an accredited college or university
- Experience:** More than one year of professional work experience in higher education, student services, academic support, counseling, or closely related field
