Make a Difference During a Child’s Most Important Years

Are you passionate about helping children thrive and supporting families in your community? The McLean County Health Department is seeking an Early Intervention Service Coordinator to lead and strengthen programs that serve children from birth to age five.

In this role, you will help connect families with vital early childhood resources, coordinate community partnerships, oversee grant-funded initiatives, and support programs that promote healthy child development. What You’ll Do

As the Early Intervention Service Coordinator, you will:

Lead & Support Programs

  • Supervise Family Engagement Specialist staff and support the Parent Ambassador program.
  • Coordinate activities for the All Our Kids Network grant within the Health Department.
  • Oversee grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with state requirements.

Build Community Partnerships

  • Collaborate with local and state agencies to develop and coordinate birth-to-five services.
  • Work closely with the Local Interagency Council and other community organizations.
  • Promote awareness of early childhood programs and services throughout the community.

Use Data to Drive Impact

  • Collect, analyze, and report program data to the Illinois Department of Early Childhood.
  • Measure program outcomes and evaluate network effectiveness.
  • Conduct research related to maternal and child health needs.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Work, Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of related experience in maternal and child health, early childhood services, or a similar program area.
  • Valid Illinois Driver’s License.
