Position Summary:
Responsible for providing system and process/workflow training to one or more of the following areas as part of a Clinically Driven Revenue Cycle: Corporate Business Services (CBS) Patient Accounting teams, Patient Access, HIM & Coding, McLaren Medical Group and Ancillary departments throughout the McLaren organization. Also, serves as a member of the McLaren CBS Process Excellence team and provides training and onboarding for new Corporate/CBS employees. Position is partially remote. May require travel to hospital sites as needed.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities as Assigned:
- Provides Cerner Millennium and Experian application and process/workflow training.
- Identifies recurring challenges or issues with end users, and develops job aids, user guides, workshops, e-learning, and/or curriculum to address gaps in understanding.
- Acts as a liaison to all supporting departments to ensure consistency of system usage, workflows, and training materials.
- Assists department managers to identify Super Users; train and work with Super Users when training new workflows and have them assist in identifying process or workflow issues.
- Engages in coaching, feedback, and performance improvement strategies for underperforming staff. Ensure staff have access to necessary policies, procedures, training and other tools and resources necessary to complete their responsibilities.
- Consults with internal stakeholders to conduct needs assessments, evaluate, and make recommendations for training and development solutions, partners with departments regarding training needs, delivery, and scheduling requirements.
- Collects and manages individual course logistics, scheduling, class enrollments, course completions, and evaluations, grading classes within LMS systems.
- Identify and forecast training trends to identify future curriculum development and programmatic improvements.
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Human Resources or a related field or enrolled in a bachelor’s program
- One year of training, revenue cycle and/or project management experience.
- One year experience in delivery of virtual training (Microsoft Teams) and Instructor led training.
- Three years in patient accounting, patient access or HIM & Coding
- One year of experience with Cerner EMR
