Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Loan Processor to support our MCA (Merchant Cash Advance) workflow. This role requires someone who is fast, organized, and capable of managing a high volume of deals. If you have a background in mortgage loan processing, this position will feel extremely familiar — the process is similar, but significantly faster-paced.
The Loan Processor will work closely with our sales team, clients, banks, and underwriting teams to ensure all required documents are collected, verified, and submitted quickly and accurately.
Key Responsibilities1. Work Directly With the Sales Team
- Meet with sales representatives in person to gather all required client documents.
- Review submissions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Organize, prepare, and package files to be submitted to banks, lenders, and underwriting teams.
2. Communicate With Banks & Lenders
- Speak directly with bank representatives via phone to verify client information and answer questions.
- Follow up on missing items, clarifications, and additional documentation requested by underwriting.
- Maintain professional and timely communication at all times.
3. Manage Email & Documentation Flow
- Send banks all required client documents quickly and accurately.
- Maintain organized email threads and communication logs.
- Track outstanding items and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
- Handle sensitive financial documents with confidentiality and precision.
4. File Management & Workflow
- Manage 20–40 files at any given time.
- Ensure all documents are compliant, verified, and correctly labeled.
- Maintain a fast turnaround time to support daily funding operations.
- Keep sales and management updated on file status and action items.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (required).
- 3 years of experience in mortgage loan processing or MCA processing (required).
- Strong understanding of:
- Bank statements
- Underwriting requirements
- Financial documents
- Loan or MCA file structures
- Exceptional ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Must be extremely fast, organized, and able to keep up in a high-volume environment.
- Excellent communication skills — both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the MCA industry.
