Responsibilities
- Review and verify loan documentation, ensuring completeness and accuracy in accordance.
- Prepare and submit loan packages for underwriting approval, including credit analysis, income verification, and escrow details.
- Collaborate with loan officers, underwriters, and other stakeholders to gather additional information or resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure all processing steps adhere to fair housing regulations and mortgage servicing standards while maintaining compliance with federal and state laws.
- Conduct detailed credit analysis to assess borrower eligibility and support decision-making processes.
- Manage the loan origination process from initial application through final approval, including handling contracts and banking documentation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in loan processing within the financial services or mortgage industry,
- Prior experience as a loan officer or in mortgage origination is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients alike.
