Responsibilities
- Assist with managing the firm’s trademark portfolio by overseeing assigned client portfolios.
- Manage daily docketing responsibilities, ensuring all deadlines are accurately tracked, met, and proactively monitored in advance.
- Prepare electronic forms with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), including applications, renewals, responses to office actions, assignments and other ownership updates.
- Correspond with foreign trademark counsel regarding trademark applications and registrations outside the United States
- Manage all correspondence electronically, ensuring timely responses and that no deadlines or critical actions are missed.
- Maintain high attention to detail while working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Bachelor’s degree and strong academic record.
- Excellent technical skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) is required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Willingness and desire to work with and learn innovative technology platforms including WebTMS trademark docketing software and Harvey, a legal-specific AI tool that reduces time spent on routine tasks, allowing you to focus on more meaningful, high-impact work.
- Experience in advertising a plus but not required.
